Please read these operating instructions carefully, keep them for later use, make them available to other users and observe these notes.
  • The target group for this device is trained and instructed users in the relevant field: orthopedic (shoe) technology, engineering, biomechanics, ergonomics, occupational safety, etc. The system is not intended for end users.
  • Basically, the user should strive to expand and develop his specialist knowledge of biomechanical relationships in walking and running, since the device only provides basic information and the specialist must personally decide on the measures to be taken.
  • In case of occurring or suspected malfunctions, the user should contact the supplier at an early stage, especially in the orthopedic fields of application.
  • This device is a sensitive electronic measuring instrument. Please handle it with care and do not enter the device with shoes.
The device may be loaded with a maximum of 130 kg.
  • Do not expose the meter to direct sunlight.
  • The instrument should be in the room where the measurement is performed for at least 30 minutes before start-up and use.
  • The instrument is not waterproof. For this reason, direct contact with water or other liquids should be avoided. If liquid should nevertheless penetrate the device, it must not be used any longer. In this case, contact the supplier.
  • The device is only intended for the purpose specified in these operating instructions. Any misuse will invalidate the warranty.
  • Repairs may only be carried out by persons authorized by the manufacturer. Otherwise, the warranty will be voided.
  • The measuring surface of the device must be cleaned before and after each use with a soft cloth moistened with disinfectant.
  • It must be possible to walk or run in front of and behind the device without tripping.
Please observe the following safety instructions for the laser
  • The unit uses a laser of laser class 2.
  • With class 2 laser systems, the accessible laser radiation is not dangerous to the skin. Short-term irradiation of the eyes is also harmless due to the low power. In case of longer intensive irradiation, the eye is protected by the natural eyelid protection reflex.
  • To avoid irritation of the eyes during operation, do not look directly into the laser source.
  • Diffuse reflections from the laser are absolutely harmless.
